Millions of years ago, the Giants and Titans ruled the Continent of EST from their Cloud Empire unrivaled, founding the very first civilization in EST history. It is said that Giants would gradually ascend to Titans, and Titans would finally ascend to Gods. They then created the lesser races, fairies for entertainment, dragons for warfare, and other races for labor work. It seems their dominance would last for millions of generations, but then came CHAOS. Gods died, Titan annihilated, and the Cloud Empire fell and crumbled, leaving almost no trace of its existence.
The surviving Giants lost their power of ascending, and together their purpose of life. They retreated back to the Cloud Isles north, trying fruitlessly to revive their dream in this barely survived sacred site. Today, ghost of their former glory haunts now emptied fortresses buried underground, ground drawing can only be recognized from sky still pay homage to the fallen empire, and colossal effigies near the coast of cloud isle silently witness rise and fall of the lesser races.
