阿兹特兰-亚马逊战争表面上是两个国家为了争夺资源的斗争，但实际上这也是一场阿兹特科技与地平线之间的代理人战争，他们为了争夺世人的心而战。在这场战争中，地平线的行动方针主要是暗地里阻挠和破坏，尽力避免可能导致负面舆论的正面冲突。因而，地平线并没有向亚马逊提供武器和物资，而是开发了一种无人机来执行他们最擅长的事情——骚扰和捣乱。
“嗡嗡蚊”是一种飞行微型无人机，开发者为它添加了一些特别的小技能。这种无人机外观上与蚊子类似，它的机体搭载不了太多东西。它的功能之中最主要和最明显的，就是扬声器系统。这种无人机能够爆发出160分贝的声音（这也是高端赛车的音量），如此巨大的音量能给那些不幸呆在一只启动的嗡嗡蚊附近的倒霉蛋们造成分心的效果，以及轻微听力损伤。另外，这种无人机的身体和翅膀上都布满了小型LED灯，它们亮度十分强，能以一组令人发疯的频闪模式放出致盲水平的眩目强光。

游戏信息：当闪光灯被启用，会对所有正看向该无人机方向的人的所有行动造成-2骰池罚值；若目标拥有强光补偿，那么罚值降为-1。扬声器会对所有处在听力所及范围内的人的所有动作造成-2骰池罚值；若拥有减音器(sound damper)，那么罚值降为-1。当有多个嗡嗡蚊成队行动，罚值可叠加（这意味着当有三个嗡嗡蚊一起运行，那么目标将在所有行动上承受-12骰池罚值）。

HORIZON “NOIZQUITO”
(PILOT AIRCRAFT)
The Aztlan-Amazonian War was ostensibly about two nations fghting over resources, but it was also a proxy war between Aztechnology and Horizon, who were fghting for the hearts and minds of the world. In this fght, Horizon attempted to act primarily through cat’spaws and cut-outs, avoiding a direct confrontation that could lead to bad press. Thus, rather than providing weapons and materiel to the Amazonians, Horizon developed a drone that could do what Horizon does best—harass and annoy.
The NoizQuito was developed as a flying micro drone with a few special tricks. Visually similar to a mosquito, the body of the drone can only house a small number of features. The most prevalent and obvious of these features is the speaker system. The drone can blast sounds as loud as 160 decibels (which is the volume of high-end race cars), which are used to produce distractions and possibly even minor ear damage in those unfortunate enough to be near the drone when it activates. Additionally, the drone’s wings and body are covered in small LEDs that are powerful enough to produce blinding levels of light in a bewildering array of strobe patterns.

Standard Upgrades: Flying, speakers, strobes
Game Information: When activated, the strobes impose a –2 penalty to all actions by those who are currently looking in the direction of the drone. This penalty is reduced to –1 if the target has flare compensation. The speakers impose a –2 penalty to all actions by those within earshot of the drone, which is lessened to –1 for those with a sound damper system. If there are multiple drones acting as a group, the penalties are cumulative for each drone (meaning that if three drones are working as one, the target can take as much as a –12 penalty to all actions).
Note: “Earshot” has the potential to be quite far, but the physics calculations for determining actual earshot are too complicated for a roleplaying game. As always, the gamemaster has the fnal say in determining who (or what) is affected.

Perhaps the smallest drone-hunting drone in production today, the Dragonfly is designed to follow surveillance drones anywhere they hide and bring them down. A sleek quad-copter design with in-body rotors that are protected from collisions in tight corners, the Dragonfly comes pre-equipped with a chomping “beak” of blades, allowing it to shear through the wings or body of other mini-or-micro-drones, ripping them from the sky. Against larger drones, the Dragonfly can swarm, nipping away in small bites, but it isn’t designed to cut through any appreciable levels of armor plating.

A simple single-fan vectored thrust drone, the CU is a cheaper version of the professional camera drones used by most major trideo broadcasters. The fan traded off speed for stability and whisper-quiet operation, allowing the camera to focus on the target without overwhelming the sound with the typical whirly-whoosh. Hugely popular with the P2 crowd, where it follows them everywhere and records their day, allowing them to do live updates or edit the footage later. The professional version has an improved camera, Pilot, and software, and usually operates in threes (thus the cubed designation), allowing for three camera angles in any given scene.

The Sentry both draws power and accepts commands via the rail system, leaving it impervious to wireless hijacking and, due to being kept on a secondary, dedicated power supply, functional even when the rest of the facility is blacked out. In the mid-’60s, enterprising Ares executives decided to take advantage of the rail system by creating the Mercury, an unarmed courier that would allow messages or packages to be shuttled around the offce with greater reliability and safety. As the Sentry was nigh-ubiquitous, the Mercury is now found in over ninety percent of Ares facilities, serving as a mobile mailbox. In the event of an active hostile situation, Mercuries store themselves out of the way, leaving the rails clear for Sentry deployment.

Lone Star is unique in the home-security drone market in offering a pistol-armed drone, as opposed to the non-lethal options other security drones carry as standard arms. Much more common in the CAS than the UCAS, the Castle Guard ads push that lethal force is the only true way to keep your family safe while you’re grinding away at your job. The Guard comes with four SmartSafety bracelets to ensure that it can’t accidentally fre at family members, and additional bracelets, or pet collars, can be purchased for 50 nuyen each. The drone itself is average-sized, fourwheeled, and has enough armor to turn aside small arms or baseball bats, but not so much that one going wild can’t be easily stopped by heavier frepower. The marketing on these things is damned impressive, even if the actual drone’s average at best.

If you’ve ever gone into a Zero Zone, you’ve run into these bad boys. MCT’s been selling them to anyone with nuyen to wave around for over ffty years. They’re immobile (other than rotating), but they’re both cheap and well-armored, allowing them to do the job effciently. The most common variants are Retractable or Up-Armored, but some choose a larger weapon mount instead.

Launched on New Year’s Day 2077, the Mitsuhama Seven are intended to capture the North American casual drone market, targeting both drone beginners and advanced modders with the same product. The Seven (a number chosen for marketing reasons) is a bare-bones model with laughable programming. These things are half-blind but dirt cheap. While the “Seven Dwarves” have offcial numerical designations (77-MPD-01, 02, 03, etc.), they quickly developed nicknames that standardized across the Matrix. The core wheeled model is “Wheelie,” treaded is “Treads,” off-road suspension is “Dirty,” the four-legged “Quad,” the surface-aquatic “Swims,” the quad-copter “Hovers,” and the traditional flyer “Soars.” I never claimed that they were good nicknames, but they’re better than numbers, right?

Proteus A.G. is well known for its arkoblocks, and the corp had a well-publicized spat with Ares in 2063. Since the Corporate Court’s ruling against Proteus, they have attempted to submerge themselves into their private research. While shadowrunners typically have had diffculty infltrating these facilities to perform corporate espionage, one team recently managed to surface with plans for a very unique drone.

Since the best drone designs are based on natural evolutionary perfection, Proteus decided to model the design of the Krake drone on a squid. The six tentacles are used to propel the Krake through the water and can flex to provide a full range of motion options, making this drone incredibly agile in the water. Additionally, one of the tentacles is equipped with a plasma torch and multitool, which are presumably used for underwater welding and cutting tasks. Due to the small size of the Krake, it can reach areas that are normally inaccessible to metahumans.
The seas are dangerous though, and Proteus has repeatedly shown that they are willing to fght it out with the merfolk and even the Sea Dragon. So the Krake are occasionally retroftted for security detail, adding a small cluster of micro-torpedoes and a sort of “ink pouch” feature. From the blueprints that were recovered, the micro-torpedoes have a limited payload, but when used in a cluster they are more than devastating. The “ink” that can be released by the Krake is designed to scramble electronic sensors, as well as prevent visual targeting.
> A word of warning: the payloads for these torpedoes can be devastating. Instead of their typical explosive warheads, some of them have been outftted with a chemical that eats through hulls.

> Word is that Evo NavTech is trying to fnd a way to utilize this design for patrolling the waters of Kowloon Bay. If they can fgure out how to correct the effect of water refraction on radio waves, they could have a fully autonomous drone force that is nearly undetectable. Scary thought.

Game Information: The plasma torch can only be used in immediate touch range, and therefore is useless in combat scenarios.
The ink pouch can release a cloud of manufactured ink into the water along with a chafe of metal flakes. The ink obscures vision (even electronic) in a fve-meter radius, applying a penalty equal to Heavy Smoke for any attacks made through the cloud.
The micro-torpedoes can be outftted with either a chemical or an explosive warhead. The explosive warheads are treated as anti-vehicle rockets, providing –4 armor penetration to non-vehicle targets and providing a –10 armor penetration to vehicular targets. The chemical warheads apply an acidic adhesive to the target, providing continuous damage to the target each Combat Turn until the adhesive is removed with a simple solvent (glue solvent, p. 448, SR5).

Renraku has numerous lines all based on the same chassis (which is why the Jardinero has the wrong suspension for the work it’s doing), but the Jardinero is the top-selling, so gets the nod. The basic model is simply an automated lawn mower, handling all of the upkeep of suburban grass with silent electrical motors and whisper-quiet blades, then returning to a solar recharge station until told to mow again. Other versions handle vacuum duties, floor polishing, repainting parking lots, and similarly menial jobs.

It all started with the Song-a-Mat, a simple desktop unit that allowed consumers to put together music to their own taste, allowing everyone to become a musician of sorts. This revolutionized the entire music industry, giving us today’s model where live performances are the sign that you’ve made it, while struggling young bands have to put out singles for wageslave pay. Since then, Renraku’s found that the basic chassis was ideal for loading other software modules into and a new market was born. Keep in mind that Renraku never plasters their name on these things and that each of the two dozen or so models is marketed in a different way. The BarristaBot is marketed to small business owners that want to add a small drink area, while the Intern line flls up legal offces and insurance frms, grinding out paperwork.

You’ve seen these quad-copters around for years, but I bet none of you knew what the actual name was. Renraku keeps the marketing for these things aimed at wholesale, not retail. The Pelican is a simple flying drone with a modular storage compartment underhung. 这是一款来自秘密主义的特里斯翠安工业的稀有产品，神探本质上就是把一套法医分析实验室打包塞进了一只紧凑的无人机里。这款无人机的外形像是犬类和蜘蛛的混合体。四条多关节的腿支撑着身体，在一个形状较传统的头部下方的正面安置着复数个探测器构成的复眼。神探内置的传感器套件十分出色，以拥有全套视觉探测器为傲，它有着X光扫描器、超声波传感器，甚至还有用来检测生物样本的生物物质取样器(biomatter sampler)。此外，神探还能在开放空间中投射三维影像，若同时连接到调查人员的PAN里，就能让调查人员实时再现犯罪现场。 
不过，真正令神探在这个领域让其它所有无人机都无法比拟的，是它的水银相机*(quicksilver camera)。一般来说，水银相机都需要一位法师才能操作，然而神探配备了一种独一无二的（当然，也是专利的）混合试剂，它能够代替法师操作相机。魔法摄影底版**(mana plates)对于操作水银相机依然是必须的，可以在特里斯翠安工业下属的供应商处购得。

TELESTRIAN INDUSTRIES SHAMUS
(PILOT GROUND CRAFT)
A rare entry from the secretive Telestrian Industries, the Shamus is basically a forensic analysis laboratory rolled into one compact drone. The drone’s design appears to be partly canine, partly arachnid. Four legs with multiple joints support the body, while a cluster of sensors in front suggest compound eyes below a more conventional head. The sensor suite built into the Shamus is extremely impressive, boasting a full range of visual sensors, X-ray scanners, ultrasound sensors, and even a biomatter sampler for checking biological samples. Additionally, the Shamus is capable of projecting a trideo display into open space, connecting to an investigator’s PAN to easily allow the investigator to re-create a crime scene in real time.
However, the feature that sets the Shamus apart from all other drones in this space is the quicksilver camera. Normally a quicksilver camera requires a magician to operate, but the Shamus has been outftted with a unique (and proprietary) blend of reagents that can operate the camera in lieu of a magician. Mana plates are still required for operation, and they are available for purchase through Telestrian Industries-affliated vendors.
